Simone was born to a middle class merchant family, and aspired to a higher calling. Her higher calling was seeking service inside the Fallung castle, where she may work in Princess Katrine’s court. Little did she know that she was assigned as Princess Amelie’s personal handmaiden. The position had a significant amount of turnover associated with it, with Princess Katrine thinking no one could work more than a week with her demanding and entitled younger sister. However, Simone seemed a perfect fit. She bore Princess Amelie’s worst moods with grace, and even earned the mercurial princess’ trust enough to talk back to her publicly. Simone has a sadistic streak, which Amelie relishes.
