Lae'Shaar

Physical Condition

Lae’Shaar physical construct is meant to mirror a healthy, decently athletic human female body. She does not possess super strength or speed, but can perform physical activities at the same level of her athletic peers. Slim, athletic build laced on the right side by a series of tattoos designed to access E.I. Striking, sharp features adorned with eyes that see more than they let on. Lae’Shaar frequently wears clothing that exposes skin on her right side. This is not intended to portray sexuality or attract unwanted attention. Rather, it allows the tattoos on her skin to better access E.I. protocols.

Lae’Shaar has taken on a human looking form, while her race is actually composed of pure energy.
Like the phantom limb phenomenon, Lae’Shaar retains distant memory of her race’s former physical bodies. And those bodies had their sex organs near the ground, protected by mounds of fur and a blubber-like substance as they would waddle around their planet. So when Lae’Shaar takes a human form, she still has implanted memory of her sex organs being nearest to the ground: in this human body, it would be the soles of her feet. So while it wouldn’t literally be a sex organ, it would have the similar sensation.

Special Abilities

Lae’Shaar has access to E.I., or “Environmental Interface.” This ability is common throughout L’Ni homeworlds. It allows remote access to virtually any machine, device, database, lock, appliance, door, or construct imaginable. All L’Ni have all access to every item. On non-L’Ni worlds, E.i. is limited to certain areas where it makes sense for the L’Ni to access it. In physical form, Lae’Shaar relies on her series of tattoos to activate the E.I. on Earth and UN controlled space. It is not usable everywhere, only where it has been implemented

Equipment

Lae’Shaar’s long hair can act as a whip or other tool. It is composed of nanotechnology that can take various forms and shapes, or grasp onto physical objects. Lae’Shaar is hesitant to use this ability in public, due to how alien it seems to her human counterparts. Covers up her left side to retain modesty in alignment with human norms. Right side is generally exposed to allow her tattoos access to E.I.

Personal History

Lae’Shaar, like all of the alien L’Ni, is actually a being of energy who has taken on a physical form to better interact with humans. Many L’Ni have trouble relating to humans, but Lae’Shaar is one of the most skilled diplomats her people have ever produced. She is currently attached to Commander Candace Forrester’s investigation as an advisor and observer but, as is the L’Ni nature, it is expected she will assist in any way she can. Her Environmental Interface (EI) has been set up for a wide range of options to adequately facilitate whatever role the mission may demand. It should be noted that “Lae’Shaar” is not her “real name,” as the L’Ni do not give or adopt names. It’s rather a title of her function: human diplomat.

Sexuality and Gender identity

The L’Ni do not have the notion of sexuality. The L’Ni have evolved past the need for genders to reproduce and thrive. Yet in order to better keep relations with the humans, Lae’Shaar has taken the form of a traditionally female body.

Employment

L’Ni currently serves the collective as a lead human diplomat. Lae’Shaar serves on the spacecraft Siren under Commander Candace

Accomplishments

Recognized by fellow L’Ni as uniquely gifted with understanding human protocol and interface with them effectively.

Mental Trauma

The L’Ni do not have a notion of traumas. All experiences, memories, and sensations are uploaded to the collective consciousness of the entire species, where it can be processed rationally and distributed to the L’Ni.

Intellectual Characteristics

Exceptionally brilliant, as are all L’Ni who have lived thousands of human lifetimes and have instantaneous access to the collection of their species’ knowledge

Morality & Philosophy

Lae’Shaar shares a general philosophy of all L’Ni that life is a rare and unusual phenominon amongst the stars. All life should be allowed to flourish, provided it does not encroach on the ability of other life forms to flourish

Motivation

Lae’Shaar seeks to both forge a better relationship betweewn the L’Ni and humans, and always learn more about human behavior that can be added to the collective

Skills

Lae’Shaar is knowledgeable about a vast array of knowledge, given her ability to access the L’Ni collective at any time

Likes and Dislikes

Dislikes her feet being touched, given she has phantom memory of her race’s formerly physical bodies. The physical bodies of the L’Ni used to have sex organs touching the ground

Vices

No known flaws, as all behaviors are analyzed and tempered instantly through the collective

Social

Lae’Shaar does not need to bathe or maintain appearances. Her physical form lacks glands that produce smell, has no body hair where it wasn’t programmed to be, self cleans to keep neighboring organism free of bacterial infection, and her hair self maintains as a nanotechnology construct
